The Real Reason You're Not Getting Better
The REAL reason you're not getting any better isn't
👉How often you play
👉How expensive your equipment is
👉How often you take lessons
Sure, we tell ourselves if we just play more and work on that perfect swing, we'll play better golf
But the truth is, you haven't gotten any better because you haven't upgraded your equipment
No, not your clubs...
You!!!!
The most important piece of equipment is your body 💪
And if you're honest with yourself, you'll realize how little time you spend working on yourself
I get it
It's hard
Why would you want to roll on the ground, get sweaty, lift heavy things, be uncomfortable, and feel sore?
It goes against human nature
But when you can move better, you play better, it's that simple 🙌
The problem, however, is most teachers still believe the average golfer can swing like a tour player if they simply work hard enough
And don't get me wrong, I use the best players in the world as examples all the time
but I also understand the differences between the best players in the world and the average golfers in the world
The average golfer can't move the way a tour player does
They don't have the same strength or mobility
And because of that, the average golfer struggles to learn proper fundamentals
How you build your stance...
How you hold the club...
The speed of your swing...
The consistency of your game...
It's all affected 🤦♂️
So here's a super simple test to see if your mobility is affecting you
1️⃣ Stand up and straighten your legs
2️⃣ Bend at the waist keeping legs straight
3️⃣ Try to touch your toes
According to the Titleist Performance Institute, only about half of all golfers tested can touch their toes!
And according to MY test data over the last 7 years, only about 20% can touch their toes granted most of my clients are seeking to improve their mobility
If you failed to touch your toes...
Or found it harder than you had expected...
...it's not going to just magically get better
If you're serious about moving better, playing better, and feeling better, drop a #mobility in the comments below and learn more about my new fundamentals program
Don't let your body hold you back from playing great golf
And don't wait for your body to continue breaking down and falling apart
